The CompTIA A+ certification is the industry standard
for validating vendor-neutral skills expected of an entry-level computer
technician.
Those holding the A+ certification have a broad base
of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system
technologies including installation, configuration, diagnosing,
preventive maintenance and basic networking.

The CompTIA A+ exam consists of two exams - the A+ Core
Hardware exam and the A+ OS Technologies exam. Because technology
changes, so do our exams.
The CompTIA A+ exam will be upgraded in the late
third quarter to early fourth quarter (exact date to be determined) of
2003, but you can still study for and take the current A+ 2001 exams
until then.
